Locating backup and Company file in QuickBooks

There are situations wherein QuickBooks lost the connection with company file. we are going to explain here how you can search either you company file or backup file in your computer.

Locating Company file

It is very simple to locate you company file. There are very easy steps you need to follow in order to locate you company. Let us start with the troubleshooting steps.

1. click on start menu and click on computer.

2. In the search box type in the file extension .QBW

3. This will show you list of all QuickBooks file that has extension as .QBW.

4. You need to pick latest file and also check the file size.

5. Once you find your file you need to restore it in QuickBooks program

Locating backup file

3. This will show you list of all QuickBooks backup file that has extension as .QBB.

4. You need to pick latest file and also check the file size.

5. Once you find your file you need to restore it in QuickBooks program
